ABOUT

In the wake of the first space weather conference in the UK in 2023, SR Hoplon (Space Radiation Hoplon) emerged to address the pressing need for a hub dedicated to addressing space weather affairs. The conference underscored the necessity for improved communication and interconnection between government, academia and industry in order to safeguard against space weather, leading to the creation of SR Hoplon.

Established April 2024, the start-up has a profound commitment to reduce the gap between government, academia and industry nationally and globally in order to reduce the risk of disasters, and to foster resilient systems, societies, and environments. By raising awareness about space weather, communicating its complexity and the challenges of creating and implementing mitigation measures, and fostering strategic collaborations, SR Hoplon is working to fortify infrastructures and enhance preparedness to safeguard global and national critical infrastructures.

Through its unwavering dedication to this mission, SR Hoplon seeks to cultivate a future where the vulnerability to such phenomena is minimized, and the resilience of global systems are maximized.
